Good Clinical Practices

Good Clinical Practices are quality standards defined by The International Conference of Harmonization (ICH), an international regulatory body for conducting clinical trials. The standards are defined so as to prevent the problems that arise due to ethical issues related to human subjects in clinical trials. The ICH standards define the responsibilities of the clinical trial sponsors, investigators and the monitors which are later transposed into regulations by the government.
